| THEY say the bond between twins is strong - but the bond between Gabriel and Ieuan Jones simply couldnt be broken.
When doctors discovered that twin Gabriel had an enlarged heart and was going to die in the womb, his mother Rebecca Jones had to make a heartbreaking decision.
After doctors told her that his death could cause his twin brother to die too before they were born, and that it would be better to end Gabriels suffering sooner rather than later, Mrs Jones decided to let doctors go ahead with an operation that would terminate Gabriels life.
So firstly they operated to try and sever Gabriels umbilical cord to cut off his blood supply, but when that didnt work they they cut Mrs Jones placenta in half so that when Gabriel died, it wouldnt affect his twin brother. | The miracle of a man who regained ability to walk after diving. |
| WHEN doctors told Mark Chenoweth he would never walk again, he resigned himself to spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
Mark, 45, had been born with spina bifida, and by the age of 34 he was unable to walk because of nerve damage to his spine.
But whilst on holiday to Menorca in October 1998, a miracle happened of biblical proportions.
He had persuaded a local dive centre to teach him to dive - despite not having the use of his legs.
When he surfaced after diving to 17 metres below the surface and was pulled back into the boat by the instructor, he could walk.

These amazing cute triplet pups have all been born with no front legs - but that isn’t stopping them.
When they realised they couldn’t get around like normal dogs on four legs, the three brave chihuahuas came up with an ingenious plan of their own.
So they stood upright on their two legs, and with the help of daily physiotherapy to help strengthen their muscles, the tiny threesome can now get about with no problem.
They are the world’s first triplet dogs ever born with just two legs - who can now get around by walking on their two back legs.
