WHEN Clare Charlton?s daughter Abbie poured boiling water from a kettle over her face, her mother was left devastated.
The toddler had been left with bright red burns over her face and arms, in the accident which happened just a week before her first birthday.
But amazingly, surgeon?s have rebuilt brave Abbie?s face in a series of ten painful and complicated operations - which have included a pioneering technique of gowing her own skin cells and then respraying them back on her face.
They have done such an amazing job that Abbie has only been left with a small line of scarring now on her forehead, and she can live a normal life. [download copy]
