MOORE. MUM SAVED MY LIFE

I feel like that I very nearly lost my life by ignoring my smear test letters and now I’ve been given a second chance at life - and also a chance now to be a mum. I nearly risked everything, all for the sake of my dignity, and I would urge anyone who is worried about a smear test to go for it. You never know when cancer will strike, and I’m living proof of that. Without mum forcing me to eventually go for an appointment I would have stayed at home, with my cancer spreading around my body with me being unaware of it.
